I have so many women that I adore from afar that are style icons, from Diane Keaton, to Lauren Hutton, Kate Capshaw, but I really love Ines de la Fessange from France. Paris actually. Because of her I have rolled out my white jeans to wear this winter. It's a bit trickier to do in the winter because of the slush, although this year is not bad. I just have to remember they may need to be laundered every time they are worn, but hey, style has no pain. So here I come white jeans and a navy sweater. What could be more classic and more real than that.
I love Ines de la Fresseange, she is an amazing style icon, she is French and she is older. What could possibly be better than that? In her book " Parisian Chic", she has a lot of advise on how to dress like a Parisian, but it's great advise for anyone, anywhere who wants to look amazing and look like it just happened, it wasn't hard. Here is some of her great advise. "A Parisian steps lightly around the fashion traps of the day. Her secret? She breathes the air du temps and puts it to good use, her way, and always with the same aim: fashion should be fun. The Parisian follows a few golden rules, but she likes to transgress, too. It part of the style." Good advise for all, follow your style, don't follow fashion, wrap yourself in clothing that says who you are.
