If you are just starting a new career, moving up at a company, just want to look better at work, where should you begin? First, identify what it is you want to say with the changes, what are looking to accomplish. Once you have decided what the changes need to look like first shop your own closet. Separate out your business attire, from the rest of the items in your closet. Try everything on that you have chosen to wear, make sure it fits, it's clean, it's repaired and it's pressed. Once a item has made the cut place it with your like items in other words pants with pants, shirts with shirts. Anything that doesn't make the cut, goes away, and I mean to the Goodwill, or any other charitable organization. Now that you have just want matters start making a list of items to purchase over time that will help build what you have. Everything you purchase needs to go with at least 2 things in your closet. Every new items needs to be the best you can afford, fit you like it was made for you and be clean and in good repair.
  Building slowly is a good way to afford what you need to purchase, and you can buy the best you can afford.
