Why do people shy away from color, I have never figured it out. This Spring and moving into Fall color is huge. Total red or blue and green outfits with just a little shade variation, it going to be the style idea. If color scares you here is a good way to add a little. The watch is an old Banana Republic, I bought different colored bands at Target and J. Crew to swap out for added color. I love the look with my other bracelets. They both have watches to go with the bands, I just already had one that I love.

Good way to add color, with these easy to swap out bands.

I do not do a lot of bling all at once, but this is also really fun.

It's been over a month since I started Latisse. I am not convinced it's the best product for growing eyelashes. I did get a few longer lashes and I did get a few more filling in, but for the most part I am not that impressed. I have had better results with Revitalash, and Aveda's lash builder then the Latisse. They are a lot less expensive. (Aveda has done a recall on theirs but will have the product on the shelves in the near future). Revitalash on Amazon is the cheap for purchasing it at $67.00 a tube, here is the link. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=revitalash. REmember everyone responses differently to products so see what works best for you.

I have noticed lately that I don't move as fast as I use to. When in my twenties I would get so much done every day. Now it doesn't seem like I get as much done. Is it because I am getting older or because I am more thoughtful about my actions? I know for sure I am more thoughtful, but my body does not seem like it use to it just doesn't move like it use to. I ache sometimes especially when go to bed and sometimes I even wake up during the night. I have found that Omega 3 does work wonders for all of this, so when I am consistent and remember to take them I feel oh so much better.

If you care about your own personal health, the way you look, and about any of the products you use you would shop carefully. Many skin care products and cosmetics are tested on animals before being put on the shelf for us to use. It's like comparing apples to oranges, what is safe for an animal is not necessarily safe for us. Please go to this website and sign this petition for me and for you own personal well being. http://www.humanesociety.org/news/press_releases/2012/04/be_cruelty-free_campaign_042312.html

Let's face it getting old is rough, body parts are not where they originally started out. We need help holding things in place. Bras are especially important for we women. Instead of my writing all the information on how to measure for a bra I have chosen a couple of websites for you to go to that are my favorite. Almost 95% of us wear the wrong size including myself sometimes. While I like to go to Nordstrom's where there are some of the most amazing bra authorities it's good to know how to do it yourself. That way you can guarantee a good fit.

The Gentleman in the photo below was in a shop on Beale Street in Memphis this past week. He was selling his cd, he was quite the charmer, and guess who bought one. He is ninety-two years old still playing in the venues in town and calls himself "The Godfather of the Blues". It's a great album. Here he is Mr. Clyde Hopkins and me.

We could not get on a flight to Cancun last Tuesday so we came home for about an hour, regrouped and went to Memphis. I had never been there before I was so excited. Graceland here we come. What a wonderful, wonderful trip. So much music history, civil rights history and even the lower Mississippi. Memphis has done a great job of creating, building, and maintaining it's museums. What great attention to detail and information. So here is our trip. This photo is a little out of focus, it was originally taken at the place, we then purchased it at the end of the tour and have now scanned it to use here.

Boomers, are sending the money on fashion. $47 billion to be exact so why don't the designers see us an audience to design for? Just saying. Tell me what you would like to see for clothing for you the  "boomer fashionista"?

This guy is hot hot hot, I have a big crush on him, but few men can carry of this look. So gentlemen do not try this at home, you may be mistaken for homeless. For most of us a little rough is ok, but a well groomed man can't be beat.

She is talented, beautiful, and older, but she is fighting mad and I do not blame her. The media has been making comments about her recent appearance as being "puffy." Are they just jeanlous that she has a hot new show and is talented too? We women are always getting the short end of the stick.
